Hello and Thanks for Stopping

My name is Thomas Pettengill. I bought my first 35 mm Nikon camera in the mid-1980’s. I wanted a good camera to capture and share the beautiful landscapes and scenes from nature that I was seeing. In the beginning, I mainly shared my photographs with friends and co-workers. I was a fisheries biologist for Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The Division started using some of my photographs in their magazine.

I retired the end of 2005 and was frustrated getting film developed in central Texas. After a couple of years I purchased my first digital 35mm camera. I really struggled with post processing my photographs. It took me about 3 years to finally start to settle in on how I wanted to process my photographs.

I did Art Fairs for a couple of years. I have entered some of my photographs in juried art shows. Now, I am trying to share my photography with a broader audience.

Thanks for stopping and I hope you enjoy my work and may ever purchase some prints for yourself.
